AERIAL SURVEYING
Why Choose Aerial Surveying?
Aerial surveying offers numerous advantages over traditional ground-based surveying methods. By utilizing drones, aircraft, and advanced remote sensing technologies, we can capture high-resolution data from above, providing a comprehensive view of your project site. Here are some reasons why you should consider our Aerial Surveying Service:
Accuracy: Our advanced aerial surveying equipment and skilled operators ensure unparalleled accuracy in data collection, resulting in precise measurements and mapping.
Time-Efficiency: Aerial surveys drastically reduce the time required to gather data compared to traditional methods, allowing you to make faster decisions and accelerate your project timelines.
Safety: With our aerial surveying service, you can avoid hazardous terrain and challenging locations, minimizing risks to personnel during data acquisition.
Cost-Effectiveness: By optimizing the surveying process, we can reduce the overall costs associated with data collection and analysis, giving you an excellent return on investment.
Our Aerial Surveying Services Include:
Topographic Mapping: Obtain detailed topographic maps of your project site, including elevation data, contours, and terrain features, aiding in design and planning.
Orthophoto Production: We create orthophotos, which are geometrically corrected aerial images that provide an accurate representation of the land, free from perspective distortion.
Volumetric Analysis: Accurately calculate the volume of stockpiles, excavation areas, and earthwork projects with our volumetric analysis using aerial data.
Construction Site Monitoring: Keep track of construction progress, identify potential issues, and ensure adherence to project timelines with our regular aerial monitoring.
Environmental Monitoring: Monitor environmental changes, detect land erosion, assess vegetation health, and conduct environmental impact assessments using our aerial surveying capabilities.
Infrastructure Inspection: Conduct comprehensive inspections of bridges, power lines, pipelines, and other critical infrastructure with our high-resolution aerial imagery.
SOIL EVALUATION
What we do.
Soil Evaluation or “Perc Test”- Dig test holes to determine suitability of soils for septic systems and provide a letter of the findings.
Permitting for Septic and Well- Perform soil evaluation in conjunction with all paperwork and mapping required by the health department in order to obtain a permit for installing a septic system and well.
Certification letter- Perform soil evaluation in conjunction with all paperwork and mapping required by the health department to obtain a letter from the health department certifying the subject property has a site suitable for future installation of a septic system.
A certification letter in good indefinitely and can be converted into a construction permit at any point in the future.
Alternative engineered septic system design- In the event that the soil evaluation bears out that the soils will not support a standard septic system there are still a number of other options available.
Alternative engineered septic system designs can overcome even the poorest of soil conditions in most cases and allow for development of property that was once thought to be undevelopable.
Pump design- In some cases the septic system must be placed at a higher elevation than the structure. This will require that a pump system be designed and installed as part of the septic system.
Design computations as well as pump and system specifications will accompany the normal paperwork and mapping for the septic system.
Subdivision Review- Provide soil evaluations on individual lots of a proposed subdivision for submittal to the health department for subdivision approval.
What Is Soil Evaluating?
Whether you're constructing a new home, purchasing undeveloped land, or dividing property without access to sanitary sewer, a soil evaluation by a licensed onsite soil evaluator is crucial to assess soil suitability for septic systems.
Commonly known as a "perc test" (short for percolation), this evaluation involves boring or digging test holes to analyze soil characteristics like color and texture. These details inform decisions about the design depth and size of the septic system.
Accupoint Surveying & Design's expert team offers consulting services for everything from standard septic system design to alternative engineered solutions. Contact us today to discuss your project needs.

What we do.
Initial Consultation: The first step in any successful re-zoning project is understanding your specific needs and goals. We begin with an in-depth consultation to discuss your objectives, property details, and any challenges that may arise during the re-zoning process. This consultation helps us tailor a unique approach that aligns with your vision.
Site Evaluation and Surveying: Accurate data is crucial for a successful re-zoning application. Our team conducts a thorough site evaluation and land survey to gather essential information about the property’s size, boundaries, topography, and existing infrastructure. This data forms the foundation for the subsequent stages of the re-zoning process.
Zoning Analysis: Before proceeding, we conduct a comprehensive analysis of the current zoning regulations and requirements for your property. This analysis allows us to identify any restrictions or opportunities that may affect your re-zoning objectives. Our team will explain the findings and advise on the best course of action.
Developing the Re-zoning Plan: Based on the information gathered and the analysis, our experienced planners and designers craft a re-zoning plan tailored to your property’s unique characteristics and your goals. The plan will outline the proposed changes, potential land use scenarios, and any necessary adjustments to comply with zoning codes.
Community Engagement: We understand that community support is often a crucial aspect of the re-zoning process. Our team can assist in facilitating meetings and engaging with local stakeholders, including community members and government officials. We aim to build consensus and address any concerns while promoting the benefits of the proposed re-zoning.
Application Preparation: Crafting a comprehensive and well-documented re-zoning application is essential for success. Our team will assist you in preparing all the necessary documentation, including surveys, plans, environmental studies, impact assessments, and any other required materials for the application submission.
Navigating the Approval Process: Submitting a re-zoning application can be a bureaucratic process involving multiple regulatory agencies and public hearings. We will act as your advocates, navigating through the complexities of the approval process to ensure your application is efficiently processed.
Post-Approval Services: Our commitment to you doesn’t end with approval. We can continue to support you during the implementation phase, helping you understand the approved changes, liaising with contractors, and providing ongoing support to bring your vision to life.
